Machine Elements
“Study hard what interests you the most in the most undisciplined, irreverent and original manner possible.”
— Richard P. Feynman, 1966
Every element in this part ends up on the RC car or on a machine like it: the gears and belts that drive it, the bearings, shafts and couplings that carry the drive, and the bolts, springs and welds that hold a machine together. For each one we write the model that sizes it, use it on an example, and then print the part or test it in the lab to see where the model is wrong.
